This November, I express my gratitude for the members of Scarlet Woman Oasis, all Thelemic practitioners worldwide, and every kindred spirit on the path of self-realization.

I’m indebted to every initiate who has walked the path before me: your struggles, breakthroughs, and dedication have laid down the egregore and created the astral temple that we now access.

To present members: you are the living stones of that temple. Without you, the symbols and rituals would be mere museum pieces.

To those who come after: thank you for the unlimited possibility you represent. You will carry the Work forward into contexts we cannot imagine.

As schedules grow busy this month, may you find comfort in your community and gratitude for your blessings. Cultivating thankfulness creates resonance between microcosm and macrocosm, aligning our internal state with the divine order’s generative abundance.

Through this resonance, the Great Work becomes possible—the hermetic principle teaches that God and man are mutually attracted. What the magician sends upward, the divine returns amplified.

Remember: gratitude is not passive reception but active participation in the cosmic exchange. Each moment of genuine thankfulness strengthens the chain of initiation linking past, present, and future. In recognizing what we’ve received, we become conscious conduits of the current—transforming gifts into Will, reception into transmission, and individual awakening into collective illumination.

This month, I invite you to incorporate gratitude into your daily practices—when banishing, performing Resh, and saying Will.

With deep appreciation, I also announce that the mastership of Scarlet Woman has passed from Soror Musick to myself. For over five years—since April 2019—Soror Musick has been our steadfast guide, shepherding us through unprecedented challenges including the pandemic years that tested everybody’s resilience. Her tenure, extended multiple times by special acts of the Electoral College, stands as testament to her irreplaceable service. As many have rightly observed, Scarlet Woman would not exist today without her devotion. She held the container when the storms came, kept the lamp burning when gatherings ceased, and ensured our egregore remained vital through the most isolating of times. Soror Musick, we honor your tremendous sacrifice and dedication. May you now enjoy the well-deserved rest of a Past Master, knowing that the temple you preserved continues to thrive. Your heroic service has become part of our living history—another link in that golden chain of initiation we celebrate this month.

Scarlet Woman Lodge has been rechartered by the Electoral College of Ordo Templi Orientis as Scarlet Woman Oasis. This change from Lodge to Oasis is a technical distinction in O.T.O.’s administrative structure that reflects the capacity in which we’re already operating. You’ll begin to see this designation reflected in our communications, but all initiatory and ecclesiastical services remain unchanged. We continue the Work as before, simply under a designation that better aligns with our current form.
