In traditional Western religions, atonement is usually understood as a process by which one reconciles themselves with God for some past injury or wrong. As a religious philosophy that declares “there is no God but man” and that rejects original sin, it may seem that such reconciliation is antithetical to Thelema. And yet, Thelema acknowledges the reality of the dis-ease which drives us to the lust for spiritual attainment and the accomplishment of our True Will.

Come prepare yourself with force and fire for the work of the next Thelemic year with a contemplative ritual designed to remove obstructions and obstacles to your True Will, and re-affirm your dedication to the Great Work. Reconcile yourself with yourself. Get right with yourself, who is God.

Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the rite will begin at 7:30 pm. This full moon ritual is open to the public, and all you need to bring yourself. The ritual will primarily be meditative in nature, involving visualizing, reciting, and chanting, with some moments of movement and energetic work.
