Dearest All,

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

I can feel it, the change in Texas weather, the excitement of Halloween, and the preparation for winter. Change is most definitely in the air and for Scarlet Woman as well. Austin moved back into Stage 2 COVID-19 restrictions. This is a good, though cautious sign as we await vaccinations for our youngest. Good though because we are knee deep in scheduling initiations, Gnostic Mass celebrations, outdoor events, and more. We are very excited to get together in person to work on the things we love and that are closest to our hearts.

I am over the moon with joy of celebrating Mass together on Nov 7th! And I cannot stop thinking of our upcoming initiations. I long for the day to just be sitting in that initiation, basking in the glow of unconscious enlightenment. I love magick. Love it. What else gets us to think outside the giant boxes we live in and to live more intentionally and creatively?

I realized how hectic my life has been recently; how much I miss my community; and how much I miss the accountability my community brings to help me do the work, especially in hard times. We are walking Shoal Creek Greenbelt this weekend and I have been dreaming of asking people to hang out afterwards to meditate for a time. How do we feel in our bodies? What is on our mind? What do we hope to grow and create with these walks together?

Thinking about it now, my friendships have helped me through this pandemic. Both in nurturing me emotionally and moving me physically with these walks. While in this meatsack I feel I have an obligation to care for my temple, it just makes sense to share my journey with those magical and mystical beings around me.
