The Saints Collect takes a pivotal role in the celebration of Liber XV, the Gnostic Mass. While the Saints are invoked by name during the recitation of the Collect by the Deacon, references made in the Creed and during the Consecration of the Elements allude to their importance in the Mass. But who are the Saints and what makes each of them part of the central ritual—public and private—of O.T.O.?

In this HPW series, we look closer at each of the 72 Saints. We explore their lives and work in historical context and discuss their roles as Saints in Liber XV. Although we’ll follow a general structure with our discussion, attendees are welcome to share ideas and valuable resources.

On Thursday, April 27, 2017 e.v. we start this HPW series off with an exploration of The Saints Collect itself.
