It’s hot, isn’t it! A string of almost unbroken 100+ degree days that started in July shows no sign of quitting in August. Thankfully, we have lots of pools in Austin! I had the good fortune to swim in our beloved Barton Springs this past week. It’s a very elemental dip – rock bed, cold spring water, breeze, the ever present Sun, and lots of life in the springs – plants, tiny fish, big fish, turtles (and humans).

Thematically on point, on the 10th, we’ll host an intro to Liber Resh, the Thelemic Sun Salutations. On the 20th, we’ll continue our series on the Pentagram rituals with a look at Liber V vel Reguli. We’ll have Gnostic Mass on the 20th, and another in our series on the Gnostic Saints as found in the Mass on the 26th. Saint to be announced, but they are always interesting.

At the beginning of the month, this coming Thursday the 3rd, we’ll have a Thelemic Coffee Night, at Epoch Coffee at the Village on Anderson Lane, which will be a good opportunity to visit with people and ask any questions one might have about the EGC, OTO, SWL, Thelema, magick, or any related subjects.
