On March 28th, 2021, the moon reached its peak fullness in the sign of Libra. This cardinal air sign is symbolic of balance, justice, and harmony, stabilizing the sun’s annual transit through Aries. This moon is called the Full Worm Moon, though there are quite a few names for the March moon that speak to the transition from winter to spring. The ancient people related this moon to the spring thaw, when the ice melted and underneath there was the fertile land from which the worms appeared.
Spring is now in session, and things are moving quickly. Considering it is Aries season, and Aries is governed by go-getter Mars — the planet of assertion, initiation, and energy — this very much goes hand in hand. This is heralding a new beginning, something being born, and inviting us to become aware of the individual and collective moment. How can you show up for others and yourself, simultaneously? Make no mistake, there’s a lot of work to be done in the weeks leading up to and after this lunation.
In the spirit of balance and renewal of our own energy, after a long dormant year, Scarlet Woman Lodge recently began a new fundraising campaign to financially break even after a challenging pandemic year of social isolation. As a 501(c)(3) Certified Charity, whose mission is to promulgate the Law of Thelema to the general public as well as creating a place of gathering for Thelemites, we’re very excited to involve our community in our latest fundraising efforts.
With these funds, our organization will be able to break even on our financial responsibilities allowing us to focus on rekindling and building our community.
