Better known as Eliphas Levi, he not only became a major figure in Western Ritual Magick and Hermetic philosophy, but also in socio-political activism. He had very particularly deep personal importance to Aleister Crowley himself, not only as an influence and inspiration in his work and learning along his Initiatic Path, but as another incarnation of the very same Spirit passing through time and the Soul of humanity.
